Basic Graham Cracker Crust

The tra­di­tional crust for Key-Lime pie, and really deli­cious with banana cream. Gra­ham cracker crusts are very easy to pre­pare and a great choice for light and fruity sum­mer no-bake pies.

12 whole gra­ham grackers–1 3/4 cup total when ground up

3 table­spoons sugar

1/3 cup unsalted butter-melted


Use a food proces­sor or blender to grind up the gra­ham crack­ers. You want the crumbs pretty fine. In a medium sized bowl, com­bine the crumbs, the sugar and the melted but­ter. Mix well. Pour into a 9 inch glass pie dish and press evenly into the bot­tom and up the sides of the dish.

Bake in a 350 degree F. pre-heated oven for 10 min­utes. Remove and let cool before filling.
