Basic Graham Cracker Crust

The traditional crust for Key-Lime pie, and really delicious with banana cream. Graham cracker crusts are very easy to prepare and a great choice for light and fruity summer no-bake pies.

graham cracker crust

12 whole graham grackers–1 3/4 cup total when ground up

3 tablespoons sugar

1/3 cup unsalted butter-melted

Use a food processor or blender to grind up the graham crackers. You want the crumbs pretty fine. In a medium sized bowl, combine the crumbs, the sugar and the melted butter. Mix well. Pour into a 9 inch glass pie dish and press evenly into the bottom and up the sides of the dish.

Bake in a 350 degree F. pre-heated oven for 10 minutes. Remove and let cool before filling.
